It has been requested in the past that the club do more tastings of rare/expensive bottles that are tough to get your hands on. Here's a perfect opportunity to do so!

Barrell Craft Spirits is a fantastic producer based in Louisville, KY. Most of us are well acquainted with their products, after they were gracious enough to sponsor the 2022 BVBS Summer Event this year. Well, they have some new offerings out, as well as a new rep who would love to meet us, so we set up two blind pairs to taste.

Attendees will receive four (4) 1oz blind samples of:

Pair 1
- Barrell Dovetail 
- Barrell Dovetail Grey Label Special Edition

Pair 2
- Barrell Bourbon Store Pick Custom Blend (Picked by Bourbon Street Wine and Spirits, Phillipsburg, NJ)
- Barrell Bourbon Gold Label 16y

We'll try each pair and see if the Grey Label and Gold Label releases are worth their $250 and $500 price tags (if you can find them), compared to their more affordable cousins.

Samples will be $50 per set.

Samples will be available for pickup beginning Sept 7th, at a location YTD in the B/CS area. Zoom link for the tasting will be available closer to the event.

Samples are being provided at cost with an aim to break even, and any overages will be donated back to the club, as always.
